Run nvidia-smi in wsl2 Ubuntu and get the following:

Good time of day. I want to know if you have been able to solve this problem. Please share your tips on how to solve it. I have exactly the same problem.

I am also experiencing this issue. Based on the discussion in this thread: nvidia-smi segmentation fault in wsl2 but not in Windows · Issue #11277 · microsoft/WSL · GitHub, the solution is to downgrade the NVIDIA driver to version 537.xx, as versions 538.xx and 531.xx seem to have this problem. I am hopeful that this issue will be resolved in the next version.
