Nvidia-smi unable to contact installed driver

I have been facing this issue since I installed Ubuntu 21.10 as dual boot alongside Windows 11 on my Lenovo Laptop. When I run nvidia-smi, I get this error:

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

I had already reinstalled nvidia-driver-470 several times from both Software & Updates, and apt, but the problem is still persisting

Please try disabling secure boot.
Please run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root and attach the resulting nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file to your post.
