It seems that for certain driver versions, nvml.dll is no longer copied to C:\Windows\system32 , but is instead only copied to C:\Program Files\NVIDIA\NVSMI . From which driver version onwards did this change take place? Can you please share a link documenting this change? Additionally, could this issue be due to an incomplete or incorrect installation? Or do we need to enable certain options during the driver installation to ensure that nvml.dll is copied to C:\Windows\system32?
Is there any chance that the nvml.dll file is not copied at all during the driver installation? If so, can we identify in advance which driver versions or packages might cause this?
