Hi, The h265parse plugin will filter out invalid data. If it is absent, invalid data will go to decoder and it may not work properly. We would suggest investigate why invalid data occurs. This may by why this issue occurs.

It seems not possible to show video preview in test-launch. Would be great if you can try
Gstreamer TCPserversink 2-3 seconds latency - #5 by DaneLLL

We can check timestamp added by timeoverlay plugin.
