OpenCV-3.4.1-10 .deb packages for Jetson Nano (w/ Cuda, Gstreamer, V4L...)

Yesterday I built OpenCV-3.4.1-10 from source with Cuda, Gstreamer, V4L,… As it took quite a lot of time (~2h), I figured many people may not want to go through the hassle of building from source and it would be beneficial to simply publish the .deb files ready to download and install.

I have published the binary (already compiled) packages ready for installation on Jetson Nano there: https://github.com/adumont/buildOpenCV/releases.

Availables packages are:

  • OpenCV-3.4.1-10-gfb2b9b1a5-aarch64-dev.deb
  • OpenCV-3.4.1-10-gfb2b9b1a5-aarch64-libs.deb
  • OpenCV-3.4.1-10-gfb2b9b1a5-aarch64-python.deb

Download and install using:

sudo dpkg -i

Most credit goes to JetsonHacksNano from Github (don’t know his name here) for his buildOpenCV script, which I have modified a bit for my needs (https://github.com/adumont/buildOpenCV).

Nice! Thanks for sharing!

ok ,good job

  1. @adumont I am trying to build a debian package for Opencv 4.5.4, can you share some resource/document that you used to build the package?

  2. I tried modifying your buildOpenCV script by changing the opencv version, and built the debian package(followed HOWTO: Build debian packages for simple shell scripts | Packagecloud Blog) , but it failed. Is this a correct approach?

Any input from you will be helpful :)
