How can i change bandwidth for PCIE at present it is showing 2.4 GT/s i want to change it to 8GT/s for gen3 in PEX 8718 switch which i am using for jetson xavier.

Which PCIe controller are you using?

ELX550AT2 S LL2E
INTEL
IC PCIE TO ETHERNET DEVICE CONTROLLER FCBGA-256 this is the pcie controller i am using

No, I mean which pcie controller on jetson you are using to connect…

Are you using custom board or NV devkit?

Or you are not sure what my question means here?

No i am using custom board

In this image you can observe pci band width is limited to 2.5 Gt/s capable of upto 8.0GT/s so i want to icrease it to maximum

ok this is PCIe controller C5 in case you don’t know…

I think now you have got it successfully

Are you sure your PEX switch is working correctly?

LnkCap: Port #0, Speed 2.5GT/s, Width x8, ASPM L1, Exit Latency L1 <4us

Its link capability only shows 2.5GT/s.

Means if I change my gen then link capability increases or it is the maximum speed ??

It means the issue here is on your switch… Not Jetson…

Our device just reads the capability from your switch and it tells Jetson the maximum is only 2.5GT/s.

As per the discussion with my hardware team My switch has one pin if I set it to ground then the speed will be 2.5GT/s and if I set that pin to vcc then the speed will be 5GT/s and if the pin is set to floating point then the speed will be 8GT/s but only when the pin is connected to ground it is working remaining things it is not showing anything.how can I configure that with the speed. Because switch has no drivers to install it should work directly can u please help me in this

Generally the switch vendor shall provide the firmware for your switch.

As for the hardware you are talking about, I have no idea. It sounds nothing for me to solve . Please be aware that I am not the PCIe switch vendor…

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
