I am a Ph.D. student and want to use the PGI legacy 16.5 compiler for windows. When I try downloading from the PGI website, it clearly states that it is accessible to existing customers. Would you please guide me to install the 16.5 PGI compiler? Would you also please let me know if there is an academic license that can be obtained to download the 16.5 PGI compiler?
Thank you very much
PGI compiler are no longer available for purchase.
Archived PGI and NVHPC Compiler releases are available through NVIDIA’s support portal: https://nvid.nvidia.com/dashboard Older PGI releases are also available on pgroup.com for users that have their PGI User Account tied to a PGI license for the release you wish to download.
You’ll need to determine who at your institution manages either the PGI license or NVIDIA’s support account since only they will have access.
