Plasmashell core dumping ~once per day with "too many open files"

Posted this on the plasma bug tracker and they directed me here saying that it’s happening in the Nvidia driver.

This does seem to be similar but it’s marked as resolved upstream, is this driver not released yet? I’m on 570.133.07.

I’ve tried putting:

arimil hard nofile 65536
arimil soft nofile 65536

In my /etc/security/limits.conf for now but similarly to that issue I think this is going to make it less frequent.
