Poor performance on VMs with A16-4Q vGPU

Hi,
one of our customer is currently testing vGPU with an A16 on Windows Server 2025 VDI.
They are using mainly CAD programs like AutoCAD.
Now they tested a bit and ran FurMark to compare it with a Quadro P2000 inside their workstations.
Results are bad for the A16-4Q.

On FurMark, the P2000 gets 2516 Points with 41fps and the vGPU gets only a score of 638 Points and only 10fps.
Both, the vGPU and the P2000 are having 4GB VRAM.

Are there any tipps to increase the performance rather than just make a -8Q Partition?

First of all you need to understand that the Furmark test doesn’t make any sense for vGPU. You would at first need to remove the FRL from the VM in order to render more than 60fps. In addition, why should the A16-4Q not provide enough performance for AutoCAD? Third, A16 is the least powerful GPU in terms of performance but the performance is still good enough in a real world scenario to provide a good user experience.
Please test with real users instead of using such a benchmark!!!
