Hi,
I am having issues with the hdmi port on my OryxPro laptop freezing the display. I can plug it in and have it show up, but after a moment the screen freezes. I have tried to reinstall the System76 Drivers, but the system will hang with it at about 74% progress. But doing a “sudo apt reinstall” will work. Which is what I tried. I also did a clean install.
I ran
journalctl | grep -i "mar 20" | grep -i "nvidia"
which i got these logs i believe right before the freeze:
Mar 20 13:28:03 pop-os /usr/libexec/gdm-x-session[1300]: (WW) NVIDIA(G0): Failed to set the display configuration
