Power Consumption information from Tegrastats

For Xavier platform, Logs from Tegrastats look like:

RAM 5990/15690MB (lfb 620x4MB) SWAP 0/7845MB (cached 0MB) CPU [97%@1190,2%@1190,3%@1190,0%@1190,off,off,off,off] EMC_FREQ 19%@1331 GR3D_FREQ 97%@675 APE 150 MTS fg 0% bg 0% AO@32.5C GPU@34C Tboard@35C Tdiode@36C AUX@33C CPU@34C thermal@33.45C PMIC@100C GPU 3088/3088 CPU 772/772 SOC 1544/1544 CV 0/0 VDDRQ 926/926 SYS5V 2455/2455

Can you explain the power consumption numbers obtained?
I understand GPU and CPU represent GPU and CPU power consumption respectively.
What all module powers are included under each of SOC, CV, VDDRQ and SYS5V?

Hi manogna63,

Please study the tegrastats Utility section at L4T development guide - https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/l4t/index.html#page/Tegra%2520Linux%2520Driver%2520Package%2520Development%2520Guide%2FAppendixTegraStats.html%23

I have already gone through the guide. It doesn’t explain the power consumption details. I would like to know what are the components included in each of SOC, CV, VDDRQ, SYS5V power values.

hello manogna63,

tegrastats utility parse the system nodes to monitor the power consumption,
you would also check documentation, please refer to Software-Based Power Consumption Modeling for more details.
thanks
