Power delivery and cooling in spare PCIe slot in IGX

Hi, we are considering installing a full length double wide data converter card in the spare PCIe slot of the IGX platform. A couple of questions:

  • are the power supply plugs that are used to power this card slot 6 pin or 8 pin (or other)?
  • The cards needs around 250W - can this be properly powered in the slot?
  • What is the airflow for that slot in LFM?

Would you provide more information of the “data converter card”, and what the use case is?

This is for a confidential project and disclosing that information would violate an NDA. It is full length, double wide dissipating 200W. It requires around 750LFP of air flow.

Hi, any further information on what the airflow is in the IGX expansion PCIe slots is? What type of power connectors? 6 pin? 8 pin?

What dGPU card you currently plug-in? You may inquire those questions to the vendors who provide system.
