Signed-up for the pre-order and got the “get ready to purchase” email 3 month ago and nothing has happened? I’m in Denmark.
This is way overdue, NVIDIA! When do I get the email to buy this old pre-order? Starting to seem like a kickstarter project with poor inventory control.
You should check regular retailers in Europe. Since beginning of November they became available here in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria as far as I’ve seen. At that time I was still waiting for my ASUS.
It is listed on price comparison platforms like idealo.de/geizhals.eu.
Even B2B shops are listing the FE as available over here in Germany. Even OEMs like ASUS are available right now.

It’s the pre-order pricing directly from Nvidia I’m interested in. These Christmas days would have been great for prototyping.
Well. Then good luck, if you want to get a Founders Edition. The FE seems also be cheaper on the NVIDIA Marketplace (Germany) than at the retailers.
Marketplace €4180 vs. cheapest retailer €4388.
As for the ASUS box (which I preordered) they didn’t keep their promised pre-order price on the NVIDIA Marketplace (reservation ~ €3280 w/ Tax) and when the reservation became claimable the price was €3499 - same as the price outside the marketplace.
That’s weird. The Microcenter down the street has dozens of them just sitting in stock! Definitely not a supply issue. Regulatory obstacles?
You can get FEs at normal retailers since the beginning of November in Europe. But in the NVIDIA marketplace shop they were only for (at least once) a short time available.
NVIDIA does seem to prefer shipping them to retailers/B2B sellers. At least over here in Europe.

I’m also located in Denmark, had preorders from Nvidia and a pre-order from Nextron in Denmark.
I ended up cancelling from Nextron and never used my Nvidia pre-order as the “Buy now” mail never came.
I ended up ordering the a dual stack of Asus GX10 from PrimeLine in Germany.
Cooling seems really fine on the GX10s.

Any other reason you’d go for those other than availability? The 4 TB model seems to be priced similar to the nvidia FE.

None other reasons, than availability was better and a minor thought, that perhaps Asus’s previous work with cooling solutions of their NUC series could be a plus.
I actually even went with the 1TB versions, but this was purely as I wasn’t aware of the PCI-E Gen4 vs Gen5 differences, before late after ordering and paying.
