Programming on Surface Studio 2+ for RTX 3060 in bare metal mode

Hello,

Eight months ago I bought a Microsoft Surface Studio 2+ and I love it, but I have to admit that I’d love it even more if I were able to gain full control of its hardware. It would be a dream come true. It arguably has the most wonderful screen on Earth, to this date, but a wonderful screen by itself is not much without gorgeous graphics, and that’s what the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU provides. So, I was wondering if there’s a chance that I can be given access to what’s needed for me to build a driver. I’m not planning on writing an entire operating system, I just want to boot my own assembly-written applications, which, with your help, would have access to the GPU. More than anything, I wish this to be a learning experience, really grasp the inner workings of such a fine piece of machinery.

Thank you,

Radu
