I’ve developed a Live Pothole Detection System using YOLOv8 that can analyze road conditions in real-time from videos. The system:
✅ Detects potholes and highlights damaged road patches
✅ Provides live insights on road conditions — which parts are bad, which parts are smooth
✅ Can be integrated with maps so users can choose safer routes
The goal is to help drivers avoid damaged roads, reduce vehicle damage, and make commuting safer.
