pycuda with windows OS

Hi,
I am using a windows 10 laptop with an NVIDIA GE950 GTX gpu. and trying to do some image processing using python. I am trying to utilize the gpu for which I try downloading the PYCUDA package. I have installed cuda 8.0, visual studio 2013 and have pip installed pycuda. I have specifically followed the instructions on this website :
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/blogs/jfp/entry/Installing_PyCUDA_On_Anaconda_For_Windows?lang=en

It shows me that pycuda is installed but when I do import pycuda.autoinit, i get the following error:

import pycuda.autoinit
Traceback (most recent call last):
File “”, line 1, in
File “C:\Users\Nitharshini\Miniconda3\lib\site-packages\pycuda\autoinit.py”, line 2, in
import pycuda.driver as cuda
File “C:\Users\Nitharshini\Miniconda3\lib\site-packages\pycuda\driver.py”, line 5, in
from pycuda._driver import * # noqa
ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.

Any suggestions why this is happening?

Hey,

I followed the same instructions and I am having the exact smae issue.

Hi,

Same issue for me, I have Windows 10, Visual Studio 2017, CUDA v9 and Pycuda for Python 3.6

Edit: Fixed, I had installed PyCuda for Cuda version 9.1 but I had Cuda 9.0 installed. Installing Cuda 9.1 fixed for me
