Real-time vehicle control using Drive PX2

is it feasible to use the Drive PX2 as a platform for real-time vehicle control, similar to what an Autobox by dSPACE can do? In other words, all documentation I found so far is about sensor-data processing, but if I want to use these data to actually control my testing vehicles movement in a real time closed loop control, is this possible on Drive PX2 and if so, where is the place to start for this?
