I am working on a 1/10th scale autonomous vehicle, and I am using the Jetson to compute real-time actions for an autonomous agent I trained. When the Jetson was powered with a 12V battery, I gave the car a manual full throttle command, and I immediately noticed the Jetson began smoking and shut down. When looking at the carrier board, I noticed a light burn mark on an IC in the bottom corner (across from the 12V barrel jack), which leads me to believe I burned it out with excess current. I was thinking of trying to replace the burned out IC, but I don’t even have a way to identify which IC it is. Does anyone have repair suggestions? Or, alternatively, is there an easy way to replace the carrier board?
Thank you!
