Hi, I have a laptop with rtx 4060 with i7 13th gen processor. I installed Ubuntu 20.04 and tried to install all the drivers in the additional drivers but none of them worked for me when i use nvidia-smi i get this “NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.” I have looked for every source but still my graphics card is not detected. I have attached the log file. I have 5.15.0-73-generic kernel installed and nvidia-driver-525 installed.

I found the solution by installing nvtop. When i run nvtop it gave your intel igpu needs kernel version 5.19 so i changed the default gpu to nvidia in bios and the driver recognized the gpu.
