GeForce RTX 3060 not working with Ubuntu 20.04

I have a new machine with RTX 6060 and Ubuntu 20.04 freshly installed.
after installation, it’s stuck at the motherboard logo I added kernel parameter acpi=off during grub boot so the screen is loaded and I could install SSH.
then I installed the driver 470 but still the same case.
nvidia-smi output:
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
also, I followed those issues steps but nothing change

I’ve been trying for a while now to install the Nvidia drivers in my laptop, but even though it seems to be installed the nvidia commands doesn’t work at all nor the HDMI displays works with an external screen (via HDMI). GeForce RTX 3060 not working on Kubuntu 20.04

I have a fresh install of Kubuntu 20.04 and my gpu is not working. Im kinda new to linux and was running Ubuntu 20.04 for about 6 months and my gpu worked fine until recently. I thought maybe a fresh install would fix it and wanted to try something new. I checked install third party drivers at install but nvidia driver was not present so I manually installed driver 470 (sudo apt install nvidia-driver-470) My device is MSI GF65 Thin 10UE with an Intel core I7-10750H and 16 gigs of ramnvidia-b…

Sidenote: please delete /var/log/kern.log, it contains several GB of old nvidia error messages.

The nvidia driver is loading fine now, just too late. Please try embedding it into the initrd:
