Ubuntu - nvidia driver is not working

I installed nvidia driver 550 on linux ubuntu 24.04
but it is not working

$ nvidia-smi
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

$ sudo apt install nvidia-driver-550

i have RTX 3060 on my laptop.

I solved this problem.
i disabled secure boot and updated kernel
