RTX4090 with Cuda 12.0, can i using with Toolkit 11.8?

Hello,
I got myself an RTX4090 so that I can also train ML models (YOLO, etc.) with it.
My question is, do I have to wait for the Cuda Toolkit 12.0 or can I also use the 11.8? A driver downgrade is not an option with this card. If I have to wait, is there already a date for 12.0?

I am using Windows 11 with WSL2

Cuda Toolkit 11.8 supports RTX4090 (Ada), the compiler specific architecture is sm_89.
