Set fan speed?

XNVCtrl has the ability to set fan speed, but it is still lacked by NVML.
Is this feature planned? I’d love to switch over to NVML.

I’d also like to add that the nvmlDeviceGetFanSpeed_v2 has a parameter for the fan number of the device, but there is no way of querying the number of fans a device has.

Indeed, let’s hope their contributions to nouveau will be meaningful. Either way they’re going to have to do something about their X11 dependency and nvml seems to be the path of least resistance to that
