nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (661.9 KB) Lost password to spark DGX after initial setup. Followed instructions to recover unit. Used dgx-spark-recovery-image-1.105.17.tar.gz burnt onto a USB Drive. Was able to wipe and install. Unit works, ssh access and able to connect with NVIDIA Sync. No GUI login screen, just black screen with mouse. Tried to reload X server from command line but unsuccessful. Uploaded bug report for evaluation. Any assistance is appreciated.

@osvaldo use the latest recovery image from https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/dgx-spark/dgx-spark-recovery-image-1.120.36.tar.gz
There are many fixes including display modes detection in this image. The 1.105.17 is several months old.
downloaded 1.120.36 and followed recovery method . when unit booted up the main screen does not show the welcome screen and user creation. The main screen shows purple background and a crown. The other terminal channels display the NVidia logo. No way to get into the terminal. SSH into the unit does not work, don’t know the default root password. Any suggestions?
