SPARK reimage stuck at first screen

I am trying to reimage my DGX SPARK. I follow the instructions here System Recovery — DGX Spark User Guide

to download and create a bootable USB. Plug it to the SPARK and go through steps 3-6.

The screen stops at step 7, I hit ENTER multiple times but the screen remains unchange.

Any idea? I checked the bootable USB content, and it has all the files in the usb folder as the downloaded zip file.

What kind of keyboard are you using? Does Ctrl-Atl-Del work at step 7? If it does not, it might be an issue with your keyboard.

It’s nothing wrong with your keyboard. I have a keychron keyboard with usb-c. It works in dgx spark bios, in its desktop wired or Bluetooth, but not in the recovery mode. So I digged out a decade old classic wired Microsoft keyboard, and it worked. I kept that around because old Raspberry pi 2 had exact same problem. The default keyboard driver the recovery media is loading must be darn old.

That’s exactly the case here. I was using a keychron keyboard as well. Works in bios and desktop but not in recovery mode. Thank you guys for sharing the experience. The problem is now solved
