System requirements CloudXR Teleoperation

Hi,
I’d like to follow this guide CloudXR Teleoperation Guide. However, the system requirements are quite enormous. Are there any minimal requirements? It would be great if I can run a simplistic demo without spending $25k for a local workstation. I guess two GPUs are needed 1 for Isaac Sim and the other for VR/XR, correct? Can this be hosted on some AWS instance? Poor performance or latency issues are okay, because it is just for a simplistic demo.

@pleines , did you by any means figure out the answer to your question? I would be very interested as well.

Hi, you can run Omniverse with IsaacSim on our cloud services hosted on AWS, and pay on-demand: https://www.innoactive.io/ . It streams then to your Apple Vision Pro. All the best, Daniel

Streaming via AWS is expected to work as said by nvidia employees. I’m still unaware of the true system requirements.

Thanks for the replies.

I am especially confused by the --device cpu recommendation in the doc, which suggests at least a portion of the compute is offloaded from listed beefy GPUs.

I basically got it working on RTX 5090 and RTX 5000 ADA. However, the gestures did not work.
