Systemctl Suspend Turns Off Screen but Fails to Suspend on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue where running systemctl suspend only works about 50% of the time. In the other 50% of cases, the screen turns off, but the system remains powered on and does not fully suspend.

Using journalctl some of the errors I’m getting are

INFO: task nvidia-modeset/:615 blocked for more than 122 second
INFO: task nvidia-sleep.sh:102953 blocked for more than 122 sec
INFO: task nvidia-sleep.sh:102953 is blocked on a mutex likely
