Community, I have built an Avigilon NVR which is built on the dell 740xd server platform running windows 11Pro OS. The server has a Tesla T4 gpu card installed which has been updated with the latest nvidia drivers. The GPU is detected in the Windows 11 OS under display adapters, but when I run the Avigilon configuration tool to set up the gpu for use with the appearance search software. I get an error “appearance search enabled card not found. Check correct GPU is installed. test dis not complete. Please check the logs”.
For Avigilon Appearance Search, the minimum GPU requirement is a CUDA-capable NVIDIA GPU from the Ampere™, Turing™, or Pascal™ architecture with a compute capability of 8.6, 7.5, or 6.1, and at least 4 GB of VRAM. The Tesla T4 does meet the necessary requirements.
How can I configure the GPU to be detected and work with the Avigilon appearance search software?
