Hello,
We bought BOXER-6840-CFL Industrial PC which uses Intel C246 motherboard and we bought Nvidia RTX A4000(140W) graphic card for this PC. I installed Ubuntu 20.04.1, as stated in the datasheet as the supported operating system. When I installed the Nvidia driver, I ran the nvidia-smi command. And I gave an error “NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running”. I think this error is caused by the graphic card is not defined by the PC. After that I will ran the “lspci” command. And i didn’t see any nvidia graphics card. What is the problem in this state ? I’m pretty sure the graphics card is properly plugged into the PCIE bus. Thanks for your response. I am giving my Industrial PC link in the below. I know the graphics card meets the power requirements specified in the technical documentation.
