Hello, I have rtx 3070 ti laptop gpu.
Suddenly, It become undetectable and gives the following error

Unable to determine the device handle for GPU0000:01:00.0: Unknown Error

This happens only when connecting another monitor(not at the beginning, but at the mid of working).
I’ve attached the bug report.

The nvidia gpu shut off, maybe due to overheating. Please monitor temperatures, e.g. using nvidia-settings and check cooling.

Thanks for the reply, it’s not an overheating problem, sometimes this happens at 42°C gpu temperature

Please check for a bios update. Does this also happen when setting the nvidia gpu as primary?

Regarding bios update, new versions reported to have issues, so I don’t want to update bios unless it’s the only solution.

Otherwise, the gpu might be broken. Please check warranty status.
