VK_EXT_descriptor_heap support and recent driver

Hello,

I would like to ask 2 things:

  1. A bug report - I have installed beta driver 582.30 to my PC with RTX 3090 and RTX A4000 to try out new VK_EXT_descriptor_heap. When I have installed the driver my monitors kept switching on and off like device removal was triggered. I didn’t run any application, the desktop itself wasn’t stable.

  2. About VK_EXT_descriptor_heap, could we get it on GTX 9xx and 10xx cards as well? For now GPUInfo only shows RTX 30xx+ support, but from what I have read, descriptor heaps are essentially a more flexible version of DirectX heaps. The extended support could give us an option to replace descriptor sets completely within modernized API without inventing a costly translation layers above high level Sets+Pools abstraction.
