My P1000 equipped workstation has been stable for 6 months but recently I started getting: All 3 monitors go black for a moment and an error appears from Nvidia control panel and then unless I restart - at some point it is going to hang requiring a forced reset. The following is logged in the Event Viewer when this happens:
First Entry:
The description for Event ID 13 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video7
NVRM: Graphics TEX Exception on (GPC 0, TPC 0): TEX NACK / Page Fault
the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table
#2:

Variable String too Large
the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table
#3:
Same as First
#4 Same as second
#5
Same as first but now the value for "TPC is 1:
NVRM: Graphics TEX Exception on (GPC 0, TPC 1): TEX NACK / Page Fault
It continues much the same but the values for GPC and TPC increment upwards alternatively finally stopping at:
NVRM: Graphics TEX Exception on (GPC 1, TPC 2): TEX NACK / Page Fault
Then an entry appears:
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered
But it is only a matter of time before the system goes black-screen of death. It can work happily for hours. Seems random. I updated the drivers when this first happened to 386.01 then to 390.65 mid January and recently to 390.77 but the problem persists.
My Corsair Utility shows me that the Quadro is sitting at 50c and the Fan is running at approx 2,200rom most of the time.
I am running Windows 7 Pro fully patched on an ASUS X99-E10G WS Mainboard with an Intel Core i7-6850K CPU. I do not “overclock” anything - all running standard.
