WiFi not detected on Jetson Orin Nano (previously working)

The WiFi module (AW-CB375NF) is not detected on the Jetson Orin Nano. The system was working correctly for approximately 8 months, but suddenly the WiFi stopped appearing and no networks are visible.

Troubleshooting performed:

  1. Rebooted system
  2. Power cycled device
  3. Reseated WiFi module
  4. Checked with lspci → WiFi device not listed
  5. Checked nmcli → no WiFi interface
  6. Attempted to load driver (rtl8822ce) → module not found

Key observations:

  1. lspci does not show the WiFi device at all
  2. dmesg shows PCIe errors:
    a. tegra194-pcie: Phy link never came up

This suggests that the PCIe link to the WiFi module is not being established.

No recent hardware or software changes were made prior to the issue.

Hi,
Looks like the module is physically broken. You may re-flash the developer kit and see if the module can be linked up. If the issue persists and the warranty hasn’t expired, please submit RMA:
