Is nVidia planning to write their Windows 7 driver to the WDDM 1.1 spec? (It may already be, I haven’t tried the RC yet).
I was just reading about WDDM (Windows Driver Display Model), and it says that version 1.1 allows for each display adapter to use it’s own driver (instead of requiring a single driver for all graphics cards).
Theoretically, that means we could have one nVidia card and one from…another company…which would be pretty useful for development and testing purposes.
