Work with Images

Hello everybody! I´m new in this world and I started to work with CUDA last week. I have compiled all the CUDA examples and I know how to create my own project with the CUDA template. But now my next step is work with images. Is there anybody who can help me with this task? Do you know what functions I have to use for this? Could you give me an easy CUDA example?
