Xavier NX For Object Detection

Hi,

I have a couple general questions:
I was referred to purchase the Xavier NX for object detection for a client. The client has a shop with 5-10 camera streams. And I want to also set up the device at the client site and monitor from our site.

Question #1: Is Xavier NX the right device?

Question #2: Do I need to purchase Xavier NX and a Developer Kit? And is there more things I need, so what are all the pieces to detect an object to make this happen?

**Question #3: Where can I train Xavier NX?

Question #4: Can I set up alerts once it detects the object?

Question #5: How do I gain access to the camera streams once I set up Xavier NX with it?

Thank you!

For object detection, we have DeepStream SDK to help your on development and deploy your project, there are many sample and reference, you can find more information from: DeepStream SDK | NVIDIA Developer | NVIDIA Developer

Regarding the devcie, the Xavier NX devkit is EOL, I will suggest to use Orin which has longer product lifecycle and SW support, you can check the Technical Specifications at Jetson Developer Kits | NVIDIA Developer to know the capability to make decision.
