Xavier NX - soctherm: OC ALARM 0x00000001

Hi,

I am using NV Power mode MODE_15W_6CORE. When I run GPU intensive code (HW video decoding + TensorRT inference), I see the

soctherm: OC ALARM 0x00000001

message approximately each second in kernel log. I am using the original Nvidia 19V power brick on Xavier NX Dev kit.

Typical tegrastats line looks like:

RAM 3670/7774MB (lfb 157x4MB) SWAP 18/3887MB (cached 2MB) CPU [33%@1190,24%@1190,21%@1190,21%@1190,26%@1190,22%@1267] EMC_FREQ 58%@1600 GR3D_FREQ 99%@1109 NVDEC 665 NVDEC1 665 VIC_FREQ 0%@115 APE 150 MTS fg 0% bg 1% AO@47C GPU@49.5C PMIC@100C AUX@45.5C CPU@48C thermal@47.45C VDD_IN 11773/11459 VDD_CPU_GPU_CV 6922/6632 VDD_SOC 1884/1862

How to prevent the throttling due to OC? I was thinking the original power supply is sufficient.

Could you provide the reproduce step to reproduce it.

Thanks
