As visual studio is very difficult to find .
i was thinking of using combination of visual studio 2008 and XP.
is it supporting or not.
if yes then what are the modifications i have to do to run CUDA

Yes. I have no problem compiling those CUDA sample codes using VS08 Pro & Express under WinXP.
