So I have a 4090 that works perfectly on windows clocking up to 3000MHz not the most stable but 2950 is perfect and stable and Im getting to logical max power draw of 500W, the issue is linux here I hit a random 2700Mhz hard limit that I can’t go over with any fury of god and 350W power draw limit where the nvidia-settings say that the power limit max is 495 default 450 clock max is in theory 3120 but that’s just the driver hard cap, did everything changed power levels tried manually setting the clock and power consumption in smi but nothing is working even updated the bios to be sure there is no issue there. nvidia driver version 535 but had a lot of versions before and nothing worked does anyone has any ideas? PS. any intensive workload also causes power mizer to go down to 3rd power level

Please run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root while putting load on the gpu and attach the resulting nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file to your post.
Hey, thanks for the answer, was making the post in a grieving state :D, added the log file into the post
Rather odd, no throttling reasons are given, yet the gpu doesn’t seem to accept more load than 67%, looks like some driver bug. Did you already try using the 545 beta driver?
Geforce type gpus are forced to P2 instead of P0 on compute workloads, so the observation from power mizer should be expected. Shouldn’t throttle the gpu, though.
