40Gb ConnectX-3 can only reach about 5Gbps on Jetson AGX Xavier

Hi,
My Xavier’s operating system is JetPack 4.6.3. I have installed Mellanox ConnectX-3 in its PCIe slot. This card seems to be identified as 40Gb, but it can only reach about 5 Gbps instead of the expected 23 Gbps. I have already used ethtool -L/-G on the card and set the Xavier to MAXN mode. This ConnectX-3 works fine on a PC, and other ConnectX-3 have same problems on my Xavier.

However, when I use the Intel XL710 with the same settings, it can work correctly at about 23Gbps.

P.S. Intel XL710 is too big to fit in our device ,so we have to use ConnectX-3.

For information, do you use your custom board or Xavier developer kit?

And, I am currently using Xavier without any changes. but In the future, it needs to be placed in a relatively small space, so I have to use ConnectX-3.

Sorry for the late reply, I encountered some issues while installing JetPack 5.1.1, which took some time. In JetPack 5.1.1, ConnectX-3 can reach 10 Gbps , but it’s still far from 23 Gbps.
