About flashing

Hello,

Is there any way to flashing xavier nx other than sd card image?

Thank you.

Here is a method to put rootfs on external storage.

Hello,

What should I choose?

Thank you

nx-devkit-> qspi + sdcard

nv-devkit-emmc → qspi +emmc

nx-devkit-qspi → qspi only

Hello,

What does + mean?
Are you saying that both are possible with the + sign in between?

Thank you.

No, it means which device would be flashed.

For example, “qspi+ sdcard” means if your use this config to flash, then both qspi and sdcard will be flashed.

Hello,

In addition to the devkit, I also purchased production modules.

Can I flash it with jetson-xavier-nx-devkit-emmc.conf?

It doesn’t seem intuitive because the file contains the devkit name.
It is misleading.
It’s a trivial thing, but is it something to be modified?

Thank you.

Can I flash it with jetson-xavier-nx-devkit-emmc.conf ?

Yes, you can.

It doesn’t seem intuitive because the file contains the devkit name.

What carrier board are you using for your production module?

Hello,

nx-devkit carrier board

Thank you.

Then what’s wrong to use a devkit in board config name…?

Hello,

like this. I’m using nx-devkit carrier board.
In the case of nano, if it is a production module, there is no devkit text.

jetson-xavier-nx-devkit-emmc.conf

I’ve been looking for a devkit for a while.

Hi,

This is NX topic but not Nano. I understand your problem but NX is different from Nano. That’s all I can tell.

Hello,

The flashing time of the xavier nx production module seems a bit long.

Can you tell how many minutes it usually takes?

Thank you.

Yes, other forum user asked this before.

It may take 8 min to flash production module because of the qspi on it.

Hello,

My nx module has been installing for about 47 minutes now.
It’s going on, so it’s not stopping
What’s the problem?

Thank you.

That is weird. Is the progress bar still moving forward?

Yes

Isn’t it worth waiting?

If it takes so long, can there be a problem?

Thank you.

Are you using any customized rootfs? or just a pure one from jetpack?
