Is yocto officially supported for jetson nano?
Actually, I don’t know yocto itself
Can you briefly explain it?
Thank you.

Hi neuezeal,
That’s not supported by NVIDIA, but created by partner.
You may need to do more study, see https://www.yoctoproject.org/
Hello,
What do you mean by’y partner’?
Thank you.
Jetson support for Yocto/OpenEmbedded is a community project, not directly supported by NVIDIA (although RidgeRun is one of NVIDIA’s official partners and can provide support). Visit GitHub - OE4T/meta-tegra: BSP layer for NVIDIA Jetson platforms, based on L4T for more information on the BSP layer for Jetsons; for more information on the Yocto Project itself, take a look at the documentation on their website, which kayccc mentioned.
Hello @forumuser,
The Yocto support on Jetson devices is possible thanks to the amazing effort made by @madisox and the community to contributions to meta-tegra layer.
RidgeRun is a NVIDIA’s official partners and we provide professional support. You can find more information in our wiki page: Yocto Support for NVIDIA Jetson Platforms - Yocto Support for NVIDIA Jetson Platforms

Hello,
Thanks for the efforts of madisox and ridgerun.
Are there any plans to officially support Yocto on nvidia?
If so, when will that time be?
Thank you.
AFAIK, there is no plan to do so.
Hello,
I don’t know more about Yocto
It is known to provide shortened development time, stability, and robustness.
What are the advantages of using yocto to build jetson nano?
Thank you.
