Anyone else experiencing a conflict between the Kit App Template and Chrome Remote Desktop?

I realize this issue is not relevant to everybody, but if I have my Kit App Template running for. a while (-- --no-window options), Chrome Remote Desktop stops working, and I need to restart my system (I can’t seem to restart Chrome Remote Desktop successfully).

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Chrome remote desktop ? Can you clarify ? You are trying to use the Kit App Template through the Chrome Browser for streaming purposes ? The streaming examples do not use chrome remote desktop, but just stream the Kit App to a webpage. Are you experiencing problems with that ? It is VERY GPU intense and so is Chrome. The two may have some memory leaks after a certain amount of time.

I’m using the Kit App Template to stream to a customized web app that I built using GitHub - NVIDIA-Omniverse/web-viewer-sample: This sample demonstrates how a front-end client can present a streamed Omniverse Kit application and how to send messages between the two apps. as the point-of-departure. Both are running on a single laptop in addition to various other services (Docker with a MySQL instance, my own Java Spring API platform, and a full-blown Builidng Management System). I’m simply using Chrome Remote Desktop to “see” the laptop remotely.

So yeah, a lot of things going on, and maybe there are leaks that are causing Chrome Remote Desktop to give up…

Ok so that is LOT for a little laptop to handle. So that may be too much. I would try to break it up over several machines. You are remoting into a laptop ? Why is that ? Just put it on your desk :-)

It’s a big laptop :-) (but obviously, production will have services partitioned appropriately).

Remoting in is for demonstration purposes…

Thanks, no need for further discussion. Your perspective is always appreciated!
