When we first received the WNC O-RU operating in the n78 band, I tried to configure the device on my own. However, I noticed that the O-RU frequently showed a blinking red alarm LED.
I would like to understand how the Aerial team configures the O-RU from scratch. I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Please confirm if the port of WNC O-RU connecting to switch is eth1. If this is the port being connected but WNC still not PTP locked, please check if the connected switch port is configured PTP enabled as master, and also make sure switch is PTP synced.
Attached please find the reference running configuration of the WNC on our testbed.
After applying the configuration you provided, we found that the O-RU is now working very well.
We also hope that the configuration shared in your attachment can be included in the official ARC-OTA documentation in future updates, as it would be very helpful for users during deployment.
I would like to kindly inquire whether the LITEON FlexFi O-RU has been validated in NVIDIA’s lab or as part of the NVIDIA Aerial testbed.
Furthermore, are there any reference configuration files available for this O-RU, similar to those provided for WNC devices?
We don’t have LiteON FR1 in our lab yet, but it has been successfully integrated with ARC-OTA in other labs. We do will include it as a recommendation of O-RU, and will validate in our lab in future Aerial-testbed.
