Hello, guys.
I received my Jetson AGX Orin 64gb board yesterday. Before that, I had a Jetson nano 2gb for a few years and a raspberry Pi camera v2.1. It easily connects to the jetson nano 2gb using the connector on the board.
I wanted to connect this camera to an AGX Orin 64gb and it turned out that the connectors were completely different and I couldn’t connect the camera to the new board. I searched the whole internet and found only 1 solution - an expansion card. And there are only 3 options, one of which costs as much as a whole Jetson Orin nano (which is inadequate at all):
- Allied Vision Adapter Board - $143
- Arducam IMX219 Multi-Camera Kit - $179
The first option costs the same as the Arducam, but the Arducam comes with 6 cameras, although I don’t need them.
So I have a few questions:
- How can I connect csi cameras to Orin? I want 3 cameras in total
- Is it true that the expansion boards as shown above are the only option, how can I connect cameras to Orin? Because I will need to connect a Waveshare IMX219-83 Stereo Camera which consists of 2 cameras and 1 more camera with night vision or even a thermal imager.
- If expansion cards are the only option, is there anything at a more reasonable price, at least around $50?
- Are there any other solutions besides buying the “Arducam IMX219 Multi-Camera Kit” expansion card? Connecting to other sockets or something else?
Thank you very much in advance for reading this and trying to help me.
