I am using NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB developer kit. As shown in picture, I am using the Camera CSI ports on the developer kit, I am connecting a camera. I checked on the NVIDIA camera supported vendors and purchased this from e-conn. Can you please guide if my connections are correct or I need to purchase any connector/board.
Hi,
For the camera basic functionality first needs to check the device and driver configuration.
You can reference to below program guide for the detailed information of device tree and driver implementation.
Please refer to Applications Using V4L2 IOCTL Directly by using V4L2 IOCTL to verify basic camera functionality.
Once confirm the configure and still failed below link help to get log and some information and some tips for debug.
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this. I am seeking clarification regarding the connection of the camera to the PCB. After connecting the camera using the provided flex connector, the system fails to detect the camera.
Could you please provide guidance on troubleshooting this issue? Specifically, I would appreciate advice on:
- Verifying the orientation of the flex connector.
- How to ensure proper alignment and secure attachment of the connector to both the camera and PCB.
- If the connections are correct or I need to purchase any connector/board
hello kaur.ravneet82,
it looks an incorrect hardware connection.
you may refer to Camera Module Hardware Design Guide,
for instance,
you’re based-on AGX Orin Devkit, which use 2 x 60 Pinout Camera Connector.
however, the camera module you’re used is working with 15-pin connector. such as… Raspberry Pi, IMX219.
Thank you Jerry
I am new to AGX Orin dev kit. I looked for 60 Pinout Camera Connector. I see the following from arducam that allows connection of 60 pin on jetson and 15-pin connector on the other enabling 6 cameras. Will this do the work or do you have any other suggestions
hello kaur.ravneet82,
per Arducam’s product page, it looks this is camera carrier board designed for the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Dev kit, which based-on IMX219 camera sensors.
you may also contact with sensor vendor to confirm the supported Jetpack release version, and also, the supported drivers, device tree updates…etc.
