My computer is Legion Pro 7 16IAX10H and I am running CachyOS Linux 7.0.12-1-cachyos. NVIDIA driver version is 610.43.02.
My computer has three video outputs: 1 HDMI, 2 USB-C DisplayPort. One of the DisplayPort is wired to Intel, the HDMI and other USB-C are NVIDIA.
I have Samsung G50SF monitor. Actually I have three of them but the same problem also happens with one. When I try to enable HDR on the monitor plugged in to NVIDIA USB-C DisplayPort, I loose video signal from NVIDIA GPU, and I get these errors. The monitor say no signal and turns off. The other monitor on NVIDIA HDMI comes back on with a frozen image. Only Intel video works. I can unplug monitors from NVIDIA but if I plug them back in they still don’t work. And I cannot shut down, the OS freezes once I try to shut down, so I have to power off.
On HDMI and on Intel USB-C I can enable HDR with no problem. But this one USB-C port wired to NVIDIA, I can’t turn on HDR.
