Compatibility of Raspberry Pi HQ Camera Module with Jetson Orin Nano

Hello everyone,

I’m planning to upgrade from a Jetson Nano B01 4GB to a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB. On my current Jetson Nano setup, I’m using the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera Module 12.3MP (IMX477) with the R8 resistor removed to ensure compatibility, as referenced in this thread: Raspberry Pi Camera V3 Module and V1 Not Supported.

My question is: Will this camera—with the R8 resistor removed—work on the Jetson Orin Nano? Has anyone tested this configuration or know if additional modifications are needed for compatibility with the Orin Nano?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Hi. I have also removed the R8 in one of the projects and kept swapping the camera between raspberry pi and jetson and always worked. So I assume that it will still work on the upgraded version but I cannot guarantee anything. Perhaps more experienced users can clarify you on this :)
