ConnectX-6 LX compatible with RHEL 7.6?

Hi

I’m looking to buy several NVidia/Mellanox ConnectX-6 LX PCIe adapters for servers running Redhat Enterprise Linux 7.6.

Can anyone tell me if this version of RHEL supports the card (and if so, what driver it uses)? Am struggling to find a concrete answer on compatibility.

Yes. They’re compatible.
The key point here is the OFED package (including ConnectX driver and firmware)

We can check the release notes of an OFED.
Here are the release notes of OFED 5.8-5.1.1.2-LTS:

shows it support ConnectX-6 Lx NIC.
and
https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/display/mlnxofedv585112lts/general+support
shows it supports RHEL/CentOS7.6.

But remember the CentOS7.6 is not supported in higher OFED and DOCA.
So, it’s better to use a higher OS version,ex RHEL/Rocky 9.4.
