- Cold boot: I got crazy loud noise
- Warm boot: Very quiet
Maybe I should try How to set fan pwm io low/high in the early boot stage?

I have upgrade to L4T 36.4.3, which is super 67Tops.
The sound is gone, but I have heard it once this morning with cold boot.
After power down/unplug power, do cold boot multi-times, I didn’t hear the sound.
EDIT: The sound is there when cold boot (It should be powered off for quite a while. warmboot/power down for short while will NOT repulicate the problem)
This is related to NVIDIA private code. No idea about why.
It’s strange.
Definitly true about this issue. Any NVIDIA dev can help?
Multi-L4T36.4.3 re-flash, and it will end up in crazy loud noise early in NVIDIA private boot loader stage.
We tested on our local Orin Nano device but didn’t observe the issue you just told here.
Did you power down/unplug the power cable/wait for a period of time about 30mins. Then do a cold boot to observe the issue?
Did you run any stress or application to the system before you do the reboot?
Just normal work with AI tests, it will give a loud noise when I powerup next morning.
But I found warm boot or cold boot right away, it will be no such crazy noise. So just put it beside for a period of time(I didn’t check exact, just try), even you did nothing, I will get this noise.
Could you check what is the speed of your fan when this issue reproduced? jtop shall give you this info.
